The Sherrard Tiger Baseball Club was established in 2023 to address the needs of future Sherrard High School baseball players. Over the years, our student athletes have been pulled in many directions, with “travel ball” largely impacting the baseball landscape. Student athletes in our district have been paying thousands of dollars when considering player fees, uniforms, and hotels. With prices that high, baseball is no longer a national pastime for anyone who wants to play. And on top of it all, the athletes that have been fortunate enough to afford to play typically get burned out by the time they’re 14 and ready to play at the high school level. We set out to solve all of that.
Our intention is to create a “travel ball” experience for our athletes at a fraction of the cost. Our high school coaches work alongside our program’s coaches to ensure everyone is learning the necessary skills to play at the next level, and most importantly, to make sure the game stays fun! We aim to keep baseball within our communities.
